Organise without changing permissions
If the player allows it, save a small favourites list with labels you recognise. Keep a private record of the original configuration before editing. Renaming a label does not alter rights, regional restrictions or what your plan includes.
Check changes against the source
Use documented refresh controls for sources you are authorised to access. If a label or group changes, note the player version and language for support. Never share a playlist address publicly; it may contain private access information.
Compare a label without replacing the source
1. Keep a private note of the original label. 2. Add it to favourites if the player supports that. 3. Compare the same item after a display-language change. If only the label changes, do not assume access changed. If the item disappears, restore the setting and report the original wording.
Record the label and the language separately
For one difficult entry, note the original category and a short private identifier. Decide whether the issue is spelling, menu translation, audio or subtitles; these need different follow-ups. Test a reversible favourite label if supported, then reopen it. Do not rename or replace the source to try to create an audio track that is not available.
